Mantra Samui Resort - Adults Only

Our stay at this resort in Koh Samui was truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service and amazing staff. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warmth and dedication made all the difference in our experience. All the services were top-notch, from the fantastic breakfast to the stunning pool and breathtaking views. The resort is nestled up in the mountains, making it a peaceful retreat, but getting in and out requires either renting a motorbike or calling a Grab. The climb up and down is quite steep, though the resort provides golf cart pickups, which helps a lot. A special mention to the team for their incredible support when we had a motorbike accident—they were beyond helpful and went out of their way to assist us, even accommodating our extended stay. Their kindness and care during a stressful time meant so much to us. If you’re looking for a place with outstanding service, a serene atmosphere, and a team that truly cares, this resort is a perfect choice!

The property is very nice and the staff is great. The room was massive and comfortable but the bed was honestly shockingly firm. Almost like sleeping on the floor. The pool is lovely and the food is great with a view to die for. While the spa service is good, I have a difficult time justifying the 10x mark up from what you would get in town. The remote location makes it difficult to explore on foot. From what I could tell, I was the only tourist crazy enough to do that in a while. All in all a very nice place but people should be aware of what they are getting. A fairly remote location and an atmosphere that isn't particularly social.

Great place to stay. Staff were great. Would recommend renting a bike based on the location. Location does offer a shuttle service that will bring you to different destinations that start at 11 am

STAY HERE! The Hotel is pure luxury. The setting, the rooms, THE VIEW! The staff are like family, efficient, helpful & proactive. The Restaurant food is delicious, from Thai to wood fired Pizza. Without doubt it has the best view of any restaurant i've eaten in, beats the Splendido in Portofino. The reception will hire you a scooter for 300 baht per day. Airport transfer is 600 baht. Worth it. The gym is larger than the website shows, it's very well equiped. Finally, the infinity pool, combined with the view & you can swim up to the bar. Perfect Hotel.

Luxury hotel and we throughly enjoyed our three night hotel. Beautiful view from the pool and the best breakfast I’ve had to Thailand! Very easy to get taxis to the centre and beach Highly recommend!

I loved my stay at this location. From the airport pick up, greeting at the hotel and to the very end (which felt bittersweet by that point lol) it was fantastic. Quiet, clean, great views, lovely restaurant. My room (love ocean view) was wonderful. I took advantage of the spa, which was great as well. Staff are very helpful, kind, and professional. It is far up on the hill, shuttle services are available daily to take you to several stops in town and by the beach. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway this is the place for you. I would return and highly recommend.

Hotel was nice enough, location wasn’t the best but the shuttle really helped since it is quite a walk to Fisherman’s Village. It would be better if the shuttle was more often as the walk down was doable but the walk back is way too steep in the heat. Staff were delightful, and communication through WhatsApp worked really well. Our bed was really hard and the pillows were terrible, also really flat and hard…sheets/towels were ok. The gym was really gross, had a bad smell and the equipment was very old. The hotel overall was clean, breakfast was nice and the pool and view was fantastic. There is no way IMO this is a 5 star resort….4 star at best.

Very beautiful hotel

We really enjoyed Mantra Resort for the brief time we were there. The rooms/amenities were great and offer incredible views. A bit of a bummer our room wasn't ready at check-in after a day of travel but not the end of the world. If you've got notable height or motion sickness issues, the hills and need for golf cart transport should be a consideration. Otherwise wonderful staying somewhere without kiddos with such a beautiful atmosphere.
