"Quaint, charming and friendly with great service."

Well run pub/hotel with excellent staff and a friendly vibe. Food was very tasty and well presented. We really liked the area which is well served for visitors with much to see that is of historical interest.

Like much of Suffolk itself the building is charming but of an age and a constant challenge to keep fully maintained. There were some plumbing issues which have been reported and I am sure will be attended to.

Location and the fact that it provides a restaurant

Lukewarm shower and rotting window frames make road noise more noticeable. Breakfast not served until 8am.

Absolutely everything! Delightful, homely, clean & stylish establishment with fabulous staff, food & ambience. A wonderful, romantic birthday celebration was had! Nothing we disliked. The food and wine at supper were excellent & breakfast was divine. A special place and we will return! Thank you 🙏❤️😊
