Breakfast. - did not provide much for gluten free, eg cereal Room - bit of a surprise being on top of the pub as we had to take our cases up many flights of stairs No car park. On the description it said car park but this was for 2 spaces

Really nice inn. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The room was well equipped and very clean. I took my dog and the staff made him very welcome (including a sausage at breakfast), so it was 10/10 from him! The location is nice with a lovely short stroll to the river.

I could not fault the service. The only thing I had a challenge with was that the room that we had (family room) was on the top floor under the eaves. The beams were very low, especially on the stairs. Whilst there was fair warning about this, at 5ft 11 I cracked my head against the beams numerous times. Not anyone’s fault - it’s just the design of the historic building. If you are my height or taller though, you may struggle with the upper rooms. Otherwise a very pleasant stay though.

Locatie is fantastisch

Wonderfully run, traditional pub with decent accommodation. Despite, being ( understandably very busy, on Father's Day) the friendly staff managed to deliver excellent service, with delicious home cooked meals, delivered in good time. The salmon was beautifully cooked and the key lime pie was superb! The restaurant obviously has a great reputation as it was full of happy customers. There is even a ice cream parlour at the side of the pub!! The beds in the cottage were extremely comfortable and it was a nice bonus to have a small garden, out the back. Dogs are also warmly received and ours was lucky enough to be offered a sausage, at breakfast.

The shower head needs a bit of adjustment but still amazing value.
