Location was great

No parking onsite. And even if u did it was as much as council parking. Not enough and had t walk with suitcases.

We booked this trip for our 1 year wedding anniversary. When we first got to our room, we could instantly smell damp/mould. We found that by the side of the wardrobe, there was in fact black mould growing. There were also specs of this on the window nets. In addition, there were stains on the headboard and the shower dial was hanging off the wall and had been glued back on in some fashion. The AC unit was also broke so we only had a poor freestanding fan. We went to the front desk to report this but we were told that there was nothing that could be done that night because the hotel was fully booked. We were so upset by this and ended up calling booking.com to cancel our second night because after paying £200 a night for our special occasion to be met with a subpar room was incredibly disappointing. We spoke with the manager the next morning and instead of cancelling the next night, we were put in a deluxe room instead. We did not receive an offer of a partial or full refund for the night we did spend with the black mould. To our surprise, the room was given to guests again the following day which we found out during a chance encounter with the couple staying in it who also noticed the smell in the room and were staying in there with a dog. Having stayed in Hilton branches before, we felt confident in this booking, however after this experience we have lost a lot of faith in the franchise.

Excellent location,it could be an excellent hotel , it just misses in a lot of little things such as very slow replenishing breakfast, very kindly provided us with a fan, which kept toppling over! I could keep on in the same vein, as I say it wouldn't take a lot to make it an excellent hotel but it is not there yet! We really liked the fact you could actually open windows.

More variety needed for breakfast. Carpets very tired and badly stained in places. Bathroom really needed more shelves

The rooms were spacious, it was really hot and the aircon was fantastic. We had a twin room which had two double beds! I expected two singles as there was only two of us.

Nothing, this place exceeded my expectations!
