George Hotel & Granary

Gorgeous old building, lovely bar, excellent breakfast. The room well presented with good tea, coffee and biscuit selection. Good quality shampoo, body wash etc too Lovely stay, really enjoyed it

Central, characterful. Fan in room for hot night. Bar food was good. Morning coffee was decent.

Parking was my one issue - had kindly been given detailed instructions to get in but when there 3 vehicles were parked inconsiderately and no space available. Hotel could not help. Suggest sign erected advising guest to park thoughtfully at least. Motor bike taking car space itself it did not need to- as clear area no car could fit but bike could.

Staff were lovely. Location brilliant. Building quirky. Food nice.

No fan provided initially (on what was a 30⁰ day) and when questioned I was told all fans had been allocated to other occupied room's. I really had to raise the issue again seen as I then realised we had no opening window within our room. Miraculously a fan was somehow then found and we had some form of air circulation within our family room for four. The bathroom was old and had a functional window however it opened onto the head of the extraction fan of the kitchen which was unpleasant.

Great value for money , free parking a great bonus. The staff were exceptionally efficient and friendly. The breakfast choices were great and the vegetarian sausage at breakfast was the best I have tasted.

The room was a little small but it was still comfortable.

Excellent location being very central to everything Frome offers!! It’s a wonderful hotel with character and charm! What’s not to love!
