The hotel was superb and the staff excellent. It was a wonderful stay and we will definitely revisit.

Great place to stay in Winchelsea all the staff were super helpful and accommodating. The food and service was excellent. Would highly recommend here to anyone!

Was a bit worried as Hotels.com description stated that towels and bedding were not provided but this was not the case. We arrived early so had a wander round the lovely village and down to the beach, and later had a drink in the hotel gardens. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and fresh with a modern ensuite. Can be a little noisy with some infrequent passing traffic but didn't bother us. Great breakfast in the morning and nice chat with the owner who is also a member of the local RNLI. Will definitely return.

AlwYs a fantastic stay .friendly hosts . In a beautiful village so quiet . Idealic. Lovely food lots home cooked . We come back time and time again to esxape the rest of the world.

Had a lovely stay, we were made to feel so welcome. Breakfast was delicious and the location is perfect to explore the area, Hastings Old Town and Rye.

Friendly staff and nice room, great breakfast - parking a little limited on-site, though on-street parking available. Noise also travels quite a lot between rooms, and could hear music from pub upstairs in rooms. Nice meal on-site at the pub in the evening but beware no food service after 6pm on Sundays.

A very comfortable and clean hotel, beautifully situated in Winchelsea town. The owners were friendly and helpful, and made us feel Very welcome. Our room had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. We were very pleased to find a fan in the room because it was very hot during our stay. The food was delicious. There was an excellent choice for breakfast and the lunch and evening menu has something for everyone. The steak and ale pie is marvellous. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back.
