"Beautiful countryside inn"

We had a delightful stay at The George Inn, the rooms are lovely, the food delicious and the surroundings so so beautiful! We love staying at Butcombe Group boutique Inn’s and this one did not disappoint, we’d happily come back, albeit in a different room.

We stayed in the family room and therefore they put a cap on how warm the shower could get. Basically it was barely lukewarm and we had goosebumps while showering. We ended up turning the cold tap on in the sink which improved it a bit but it was still quite uncomfortable. We spoke to the staff about it but nothing could be done about it which was quite disappointing. Parents should be responsible for how warm a shower is, not a hotel. Either way it would even have been too cold for my kids.
