Muesli with yogurt was delicious and fresh, delivered to your door so you could eat in your own room along with fruit juice of your choice. Cooked breakfast choice looked good. Coffee maker in room, plenty of fresh milk in fridge in room, fresh cake available for guests to help themselves in the lounge downstairs (although I didn’t try any, it looked very nice). Accommodation owner very nice and friendly

Cleaner had missed bits in the bathroom and the bedroom, only little things but off putting, the glass shelf in bathroom hadn’t been cleaned, there were marks from previous occupant on shelf and on the drinking glass in the bathroom, I wiped them with a wet tissue to see if deep stains but they were clearly left from previous occupant as they wiped away, I left them to be cleaned properly, the recycling bin hadn’t been emptied, it had a magazine and a paper coffee cup in there. The unit requires cleaning where the tea and coffee maker stand, bits of old coffee stuck to top of unit. Tomato sauce blob on the table mat

We had a lovely stay at Epchris House, which is lovely old Victorian house in a lovely location, walking distance from the centre. Lovely hosts, exceptional breakfast and the home made cakes were such a treat! We would definitely recommend this B&B. Thanks for welcoming us with our dog who also enjoyed his stay!

Wow, what a slick operation this was! I haven’t stayed somewhere that is quite so well-organised. Service: There is little interaction with the owners or staff, yet everything you need is catered for seamlessly. The efficiency and attention to detail are impressive, making for a smooth and hassle-free experience. Room: The room was large, comfortable, and modern, with a great view. It included a sofa and a breakfast table, adding to the convenience and comfort. The thoughtful layout and amenities made our stay very enjoyable. Dining: A two-course breakfast is delivered in a hamper to your room at your desired time, and it was delicious. This unique touch added a level of luxury and convenience that we greatly appreciated. Facilities: The hotel facilities are in excellent condition and well-maintained. Everything from the lounge area, with its honesty bar to the amenities in the room was top-notch, reflecting the high standards of the hotel. Overall Experience: Epchris House Hotel is a well-oiled machine, providing a high-quality experience with minimal fuss. The combination of excellent organisation, comfortable accommodations, and delicious breakfast made our stay memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a well-organised and comfortable stay.

I found the bed a little shorter than I like.

The location of the hotel is amazing, it's not in the centre yet it's still close enough to reach everything in the centre with a 10+ minute walk or a few minutes drive. You don't get distracted by the usual noise of a hotel that is so close to the centre of the town. The breakfast was amazing, delivered to my room on the exact time of my time slot start time (you can choose a slot of 15 minutes to have it delivered to your room). I stayed in one of the top rooms (room 7). The room was nice and big, with a large bathroom and a view over Ilfracombe. There's a coastal walk about 10 minutes away or you can park up on the National Trust car park which is about 4 minutes away. I got there a little later on the day of my stay so I didn't meet Cath until the day I was leaving and she was incredibly nice and welcoming as well as the staff member that brought my breakfast up, I only stayed here for a night but I would absolutely stay here for more than one night. Love the little bonus slice of cake I could take in the communal area downstairs.
