Epchris House

Cath was a great landlady both before arrival and during stay. All staff we met were friendly. Great breakfast, delivered to the room. Local details and places to eat etc available in the room.

Nothing - all good related to the property, the owners and the staff.

There is no dining room however an Excellent breakfast was served in the room or outside on the terrace weather permitting. Very helpful and pleasant host who was always avaiilable if needed. Very difficult to find fault.

It's hard to find anything that was not to like. If I was being picky I'd identify that the lower car park is accessed by a very steep incline and a hairpin bend. Although I used it without difficulty, some less confident drivers remained in the small area at the top of the slope making it awkward to access at times. Others chose to park in the street which was free subject to available spaces.

excellent location, friendly and quiet place. well organized breakfast in the room and we had a good laugh, with twice in a raw false fire alarm at 9AM

The welcome and help received from the host, Cathy, was second to none and made us feel at ease straight away. The ordering of breakfast the night before was also a great idea and was delivered on time on both days, it was also nice and hot. The grounds were superb with superb views all round. Would definitely recommend this place.

The car park was very steep and difficult to manouvre at points

Everything, the breakfast in the room is a big positive, the friendliness of the host, the grounds, the room, the comfortable bed, all the things that were available. I couldn’t find any faults whatsoever.

There was nothing to not like, everything was perfect
