Location was great

Our first night was horrendous, we arrived at 6 pm and our window was left open , below was the fan from next doors chippy , the smell was dreadful , we could shut window as it was too hot and the fan supplied was damaged and not working. The fan went on till after midnight and then we could hear the staff till past 3am. We asked to be moved but unfortunately no other rooms available, but we were provided a new fan and ear plugs. At least we could now close the window and at least put the fan on .

Bathroom was clean and tidy.

Our small room was stiflingly hot. A large tower fan was provided, but it was very loud. We opened the window only to discover a large security light mere inches away that shined directly into our room all night. Closing the thin curtains did little to mitigate this. There was also a very loud constant droning noise from the takeaway business next door. All in all we got hardly any sleep. Staff were courteous but essentially said there was nothing they could do and that their website says this isn't the place for you if you desire a peaceful, idyllic Lake Distrct holiday. It's definitely not for you if you want any sleep!

Perfect location and more than comfortable for the price.

Everything was ok but the lack of staff may be an issue if anything goes wrong.

Good location. Plenty of tea, coffee and hot chic sachets. Bedding was comfy.

Our rooms were 2 floors apart! Intended to put kids in one room and my husband and I in the other but they would have been so far away it didn't feel safe so we shared rooms with the kids. Fan was broken (but was replaced in 30min by staff). One chair was broken so tilted and a bit uncomfortable. . Parking was a 10mkn walk away.
