Staff was helpful and friendly. the free breakfast was wonderful. we look forward to staying there again. our only complaint would be that there were no face cloths to use in the bathroom and the bathtub needs a shower curtain as too much water got on the floor.

Lovely staff friendly helpful and knowledgeable. Hotel very clean . Rooms and huge bed very clean . Breakfast included and very good . Good location and quiet . 900 m straight in to town . Tram walk bikes . Great value

"Won''t stay at an Ibis again"

Only place we could find with parking during g a conference. Turned out to be a bad move. Hotel was 2Ks out of centre but with a close tram line so not so bad logistically. Our main issue was they were advertising rooms at €79 a night and we were charged €149 through the website. Second major issue was they decided it was getting chilly (i.e. Sub 25o in the South of France) so turned the AC off. We were in a pokey stuffy room for 5 days at the mercy of the mosquitoninfestation so had a miserable time.

"Nice quiet hotel out of the centre of town."

The hotel is comfortable and quiet. Room was a bit hot the first night as the ac was switched off but it was on after that as the weather was so warm. The nearest tram stop is across the street at Gauinies and is 1.50 euros per ride. I used it to go to the town centre. To get a taxi from the airport was 40 euros but on the way back i took the tram to lycee de Merignac and tgen from there bus number 1 to the airport all fir 1.50 euros. Very quick and easy. So although the location is out of town abd there is little around the hotel, it is very quick and cheap to go into town.

"Nice and convenient for the venue we went to"

Apparently, although we asked why the air con couldn't be turned on, it was very warm, the next day was to be cold, so no ac for us???

The hotel was a good basic budget hotel and was what we expected for the money. It was easy to find using our sat-nav, and had a good underground car park with plenty of room which was a reasonable rate per night. The hotel was clean and comfortable with quiet bedrooms and the breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice. It was a 30 minute walk from the river front and less to the cathedral and museums. Bordeaux itself is a beautiful city and well worth a visit.
