Hotel Bishops Arms Kiruna

Nothing exciting about here. Expensive but I guess that comes with the territory. Breakfast was served on a bar top, very small selection. Was very average for the money we paid ($250 AUD (1442 SEK) per night) location was good though. Close to the centre and the bus stop for airport transfers.

The room was spotlessly clean, and had been recently refurbished. Although simply furnished it was of good quality. The location over the pub and shopping centre was stange, but did not intrude and was quiet. Breakfast was basic with limited choice and availability. Some confusion at check in whether we had paid or not, as the hotel system did not seem to register that we had already paid.

The hotel was in a perfect location, was extremely clean and had all the facilities we needed. It all looked to be very recently decorated or refurbished. After spending a night out in the forest, this was more than welcome!

Very good central location and comfortable rooms. I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Excellent place to stay for a day or two. We stayed for one night after having spent a night at the Icehotel. Lovely atmosphere in the pub - and good accommodation for the price.

The staff and quality of the lodging is quite good. You get your money's worth (considering it's Sweden...way North Sweden, too!) Kind of hard to find, depending on time of day, as you have to enter the "mall" to find the reception when the restaurant is not yet open. Definitely recommended for a stay in Kiruna!

This hotel, like most in Kiruna, is a fair distance from the train station. When we finally made it there, in a biting cold snow storm, it was more than worth the trouble getting there. The rooms were great, the pub was a blast and the food was also great. The hotel is right in the centre of town and great value for the price.

We had booked a family room for the 2 of us and we loved it. Modern, quiet, very spacious and clean in a very central location. We will certainly stay at this hotel again when travelling to Kiruna. The late check in was not a problem as we arrived in the evening. The breakfast was nice too. We were very pleased that we stayed at the Bishop Arms. Highly recommended!

We arrived in Kiruna on 27th Dec around 21:00 CET and checked in. There was a bit of confusion as the bartenders were at the reception which is the same as the bar reception and asked us to pay. We told them that we have paid through Expedia. They however allowed us top check-in and told us that they will get the payment verified by the hotel staff in the morning. Next morning the hotel staff checked and confirmed that payment has been done! What a relief! Breakfast is very good with lots of options and hotel rooms are clean. Wifi is great as well. Food is available only until 10 pm beyond which there is no flexibility for a burger even! If you plan to visit the Abisko National park, do activities in Jukkasjarvi, Ice hotel etc, this is a nice hotel to be based at. Overall a pleasing experience.
