Trinco Blu by Cinnamon

Very unspoilt nice beach. Nice unfussy hotel- slightly lacking in facilities. Rooms and bathrooms-could have been bigger/more generous. Very pleasant staff.

Fantastic relaxing stay right on a beautiful beach. Beach chalets the best option in our opinion.LaidThe staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and well presented. Water sport activities rather expensive compared to nearby options. Small lane leading to hotel gives more local options for local eating. Gaga offered good food for a cheaper alternative. Definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return.

It was very Nice, a pleasant stay but One out Of the two rooms we had was not very clean. The rest was perfect and we enjoyed the place a lot !

We checked into our room and discovered that neither the shower nor the fan worked. So we spent quite a bit of our first night getting both fixed. Then the next day there was a loud private party on the beach from 9 till 12:30 pm, which made it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. After we complained, they did turn the music down a few decibels, but by then it was too late for us to enjoy our stay anymore, especially since they had lied to us and told us the music would only last till eleven. The buffet dinner was excellent the first night, and rather awful the second evening. No consistency in anything. They did give us a free cocktail while we were waiting for the party to unwind so we could sleep (PS I always have ear-plugs on hand, but these wouldn't have worked with the loudness of the music blasting all over the property - the place just isn't big enough ) but that didn't keep me from vowing never to return. You decide for yourself.

A property on the ocean, what more can we ask for, awesome experience, we are coming again, nevertheless the rooms could have better, may be our expectations were high!!!

This hotel is a perfect stylish mid- range/mid-sized resort. The architecture is very successful in providing that holiday feel, and so is the internal decoration. The staff is always around, ready to help you to relax comfortably. Unfortunately the charm is broken every evening from around 6pm onwards when a small orchestra starts to play a medley of cheesy tunes. And quite loudly. And you can't escape it since all the rooms open to the grounds where the band plays. And it plays well after all the guests have left the restaurant. Which hardly makes sense. This noise pollution is becoming more and more frequent in Sri Lanka. And this hotel follows the trend. Following my complain the management swiftly relocated me in a chalet away from the main buildings after I explained to them this constant evening noise would spoil my stay and I would have to go and stay in an other hotel.

A very comfortable hotel with everything you need. The live music on the weekend was excellent.

Beautiful hotel in Trincomalee. The check in was seemless and staff were extremely helpful. Trinco has some of the best beaches in Sri Lanka and the sea did not dissapoint. The water was warm and ideal for swimming. The only downside was the lack of a fitness room. I have 2 teenages and they like working out before a swim in the sea.

Very nice off season stay at the hotel in january. However The weather was good without rain at all, a little windy so we had some waves. The hotel staff is very nice and doing everything to make the holiday a memorable time. The food was good aswell. We booked without meals and the prices were really good compared to the neighbour restaurants and the food quality. Furthermore there sea food Restaurant the crab is located very idyllic directly at the beach. Its a quite relaxing atmosphere with decent music all over the public hotel area. We would really recommend this Place and come back
