Terrific place to stay with character & style. The place seems endless, with so many areas to explore. The restaurant is superb, afternoon tea on the balcony always a treat & magnificent attention to detail by the staff. 11/10

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at. The food is amazing, the staff are welcoming and friendly, and the rooms and amenities are comfortable and top-notch. 10/10 would reccomend!

"Almost Perfect"

The Tugu Malang is amazing. This was our third visit (the others were 25 and 8 years ago) and we treated ourselves to an Executive Suite. The complimentary afternoon tea has some great options and the breakfast is delicious. The welcome massage was very pleasant. The room was quiet and dark, perfect for sleeping. The guided tour of the owner's collection was really informative. When we left, we were going to get a Grab to the station but the hotel provided a transfer free of charge. Just a couple of minor issues: the bed was harder than we like (but most beds in Indonesia are) and the pool was cold.

Unique “museum like” hotel has superb ambience, great menu options in wonderful restaurants, access to excellent tours. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a great break. We were there 5 days

"Comfortable & Peaceful yet in the heart of Malang"

The service is very good, the rooms are quirky but comfortable and more importantly quiet. The breakfast is superb and is the reason I choose the Tugu over any other hotel in Malang. Breakfast is prepared for you, not a buffet where the food is warm or cold - but hot and freshly cooked.
