"A lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful B&B with only 4 guest rooms so it feels even more exclusive!"

The view from our front facing room was incredible: rolling hills, trees, and a mountain in the distance. There were cheeky chickens that freely roamed the beautiful gardens, and we could hear a peacock (but we didn't see it). The room was a great size and the fixtures very plush. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. There were leather armchairs in front of the panoramic window so the view could be fully admired. The owners are lovely and very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The bathroom in our room doesn't have a door as it's a walled off area behind the bed. Perhaps that might bother some people. It's visually private though, so for a couple staying there...just switch on the TV or pop your headphones on! ;-) It wouldn't put us off re-booking that room. We've fallen for the place hook, line and sinker.

"GREAT PLACE AND BEAUTIFUL VIEWS"

Honestly anyone looking for a real easy holiday in the peace and quiet of the lake district and beautiful views just come here, no traffic, no screaming kids, away from the busy towns this place is perfect with great links for beautiful walks from the doorstep.

This box has to remain empty because it was fantastic

"Een prachtig en rustig verblijf tussen Ambleside en Grasmere."

Een hele mooie locatie, een prachtige kamer met fantastisch uitzicht, heerlijk ontbijt en hele aardige gastvrouw en gastheer die ons van goede tips voorzagen voor activiteiten en goede restaurants in de omgeving.

Een klein puntje: er is geen verlichting bij de traptreden naar en van het huis.
