A lovely 2 night stay, beautiful location, very comfy bed, tasty breakfast and walking options on the doorstep. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, happy to share local knowledge and went out of their way to help with printed walking directions for an 11 miles circular walk. Many options for dinner just a short drive away.

Incredibly welcoming hosts, spotless rooms with breathtaking views, and excellent breakfasts. A perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

We stayed in a very cosy and spacious double bedroom with a great view of the natural surroundings. Breakfast was nicely cooked and served by the hosts, Carey and David, whom were very friendly, went above and beyond at all times, and gave us plenty of very nice suggestions to check out Lake District during our short stay there. Lake District itself is already rather crazy and flooded with tourists, and this guest house is located close enough to the local attractions, whilst also far enough to not be too close to the craziness at all times. Definitely a hidden gem! Would not hesitate to recommend and hats off to the hosts!!

Absolutely beautiful hosts and location, Dave and his wife were so warm and welcoming it truly felt like you were visiting family staying in their B and B, Absolutely gorgeous scenery and Dave gave us a lovely walk recommendation which was a walk I used to go on in my childhood! We only stayed for one night but we will definitely come again and stay for longer next time! Thank you so much for having us ☺️

The house is in an excellent location with stunning views. The view from the room windows was incredible. The room was very well dressed, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was also done to a high standard and is very spacious and clean. The whole property is very clean and tidy. The hosts, Dave, and his wife are super friendly and helpful. They have lots of knowledge of the local areas and gave great advice on some of the walks, if you're into it. The breakfast options are really good, and the produce used is very good quality. Unbelievably tasty! We had an amazing stay and will be looking to book again in the future. Thanks.

Everything, both Dave and Carrie are wonderful hosts and lovely people , High Grassings is an amazing house in perfect location. Breakfast was so good and service with a smile would recommend to everyone
