Continental breakfast was excellent with the choice of having a cooked breakfast also available. The staff are second to none. If only all staff were like this when you visited a local inn - top notch. Thank you.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Log fire lit on arrival was great. Breakfast and pub meals were delicious.

We have visited the Old Hall many times for Sunday lunch and loved the location and the food which is exceptional, therefore we decided to stay for the New Year. We had a wonderful meal on New Years Eve and then went over to the Paper Mill for further festivities. We booked a double room and the Annex, which were great, the only drawback was the annexe had two separate entrances which we didn't realise when we booked, however this did not spoil our stay and we were able to manage with this. Breakfasts were great and food was plentiful. We also had Pizzas in the Paper Mill on our 2nd night, again cannot fault. The staff and Dan were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back, but we will make sure we book the correct rooms on our next stay
