Little worn, needs cosmetic improvements..Staff very friendly. Breakfast very good with lots of choice. Restaurant the rest of day also very good. Hotel would recommend to others.

I went to relax and this place was perfect. There was a day bed, a good sized balcony with comfy lounge seats. Even a mosquito burner. The bath was great too. The bed linen was good quality and pillows were comfy. The staff were attentive and looked after me. The bar closes at 11pm and when I returned after a long walk back from town I wanted a cold tonic water so I had to push for them to find me a tonic water in the closed restaurant. In fact, I couldn’t find a tonic water anywhere except in the bars. The pool Doesn’t get much sun for bathing but it’s still really pleasant for chilling. I would stay again.

The hotel is tranquil, nicely designed in a more traditional Thai style. (we weren't interested in staying at a generic North American style hotel while in Thailand.) Rooms are spacious, and we opted to pay a little extra for a deluxe room and so had a nice tub, patio with seating, and bar area with mini fridge. It was great to stay in the old city. We found it easy to get around and wander, but if we wanted ideas of where to go, the staff were wonderful. They have a handy shuttle to the night markets, and especially recommend the one that happens only on Sundays. The staff are incredibly helpful, attentive and sweet. The hotel is set back a bit from the busy street, and has a garden courtyard that makes it feel peaceful and lush in the midst of the city. Only rough spot was with the restaurant/ room service staff - communication was challenging and it was hard to get what we wanted with the language gap (even w Google translate) The pool area is pretty and relaxing, but pool itself is really cold, even with the hot temps outside, water was super cold, and no one was swimming. Would have loved to be able to swim! Wifi is wobbly, but that's generally true most everywhere in Thailand, so can't fault them for that. Would stay here again for sure.

The staff was really kind and worked hard. When we wanted to watch the soccer match which wasn’t on tv in the room, they set up their laptop and hooked it on the Tv screen in the room. So nice of them. Room was very clean and spacious with good size balcony. Very quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

The property is quaint and beautiful, and the staff is amazing. They went out of their way to ensure your satisfaction. The food at the restaurant was also very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The hotel is a very beautiful and serene escape from the city bustle. It's location next to the Old Town is ideal for restaurants, shopping, site seeing. The staff were consistently kind and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and diner at their restaurant, The Canal. Our rooms were very large and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff professional. Courteous, continually creates a relaxed atmosphere. They handled booking our elephant nature park tour. The canal restaurant on site, reservation included daily breakfast buffet (delicious, with mega variety). We had dinner a few nights as well its was amaxing, truly 5* restaurant as well. We also enjoyed pool side massage and drinks, just a classy establishment. We will return bext year.

A quaint hotel that makes you feel like you’ve travelled back in time but with all the modern creature comforts. Rooms were very clean, staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast which was included in my package was good and they made really good cappuccino.

I love the 99% of the hotel, except the poor WiFi here.
