Duroy Hotel

for the first and last time I booked here being urged by a friend who was staying there it was only for 1 night 12 hrs and upon check in i was asked if I wanted WIFI despite the fact that my booking clearly stated the WIFI was free I said yes and the front desk man asked me for 8USD in cash to be paid now for superfast WIFI i paid happily and he gave me a username and password yet upon trying to connect I failed when i talked to him again he said uh....yes the net is not working tonight we are trying to fix it I was so tired to argue so I slept the night next morning yet no net till i checked out the bathroom was in a terrible state as the water from the shower ran into the middle of the bathroom making it dangerously slippery because there was supposed to be a glass door to close the shower cubicle but only its remains are there to indicate there was a door before but a clever innovation was by putting a sweeper so that the client can help himself removing the spelt water from the bathroom!! never ever again

this is the first and last time I stay in Duroy a friend of mine was staying there and he urged me to stay the hotel looks like a 2 -3 star hotel on check in i was asked if i wanted WIFI and i said sure and they charged me 8 USD cash only to tell me after that that the internet was nearly everything was not working right never ever again down and they are trying to fix it since it was late at night i did not argue and I would be checking out the first thing in the morning the bathroom was a mess in that everything is not working properly never ever again

Nice helping staff, good hotel for the money you pay, close to everything, good and nice area

Hot water was out of service So no chawer

Hotel is 2 stars not 4, rooms are extremely tiny, room setup is very modest. But for $45 in Rouche, that's a great deal!

Tiny room with odor of sewer gas. The wifi was limited to 1 device, but was reliable. The service was friendly and helpful.
