Duroy Hotel

below expectation for a 4 stars hotel

I usually don’t have time to leave reviews but I had to take couple of minutes to advise everyone considering this hotel NOT TO BOOK here at any costs. Simply put: dirty bed sheets, sticky floor, shower with literally single rain drops, AC sounds like a bulldozer (aside from the fact that you can’t control the fan so it keeps hitting tour head) tv suited for a barbie house, receptionist didn’t know how to charge the credit card (seriously)and the bed smells like sweat! All in all, I wonder where the 3 extra stars came from. I’d only put one for the location. Hope you take by my very humble advise, and hope I saved I life as I barely saved mine. Cheers.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!i booked the first few nights via my friend and then booked an extra night alone after she left.1st they delayed giving me a room until the next day without explanation!When my friend checked out at 6am,they came banging on my door and calling my room phone,forcing me to also check out as I booked that night with my friend.i explained I have paid for an extra night myself and after they found my booking they threatened me with my credit card details that they would charge me extra if I didn’t check out and re check in for new booking!check out isn’t until 11am why did they intimidate me-a woman alone; with a man at my door at 6am forcing me out and the manager called LINDA threatening to steal money from my credit card!i had to leave and was too upset to stay the night I had paid for. No one apologised or cared

Bonjour Saleté et bruit dans et autour de l’hôtel ...j’ai payé 35USD au taxi et non 25USD ...En arrivent à l’aéroport,j’étais obligé de relancer l’hôtel plein de fois pour avoir le taxi (malgré la réservation préalable).

De har ikke styr på reservationerne. Der findes ikke pejs nogen steder, parkeringsgebyr på 30 dollar, ingen badkar

I booked double room for 2 adult and one baby child when i arrive to check in they give me a single small room for 1 adult only and they say that email from Expedia was with single room and 1 adult after that I contact Expedia and they told me that this problem is from hotel, So we stay in that tiny room for 1 night and after that they move us to suit room with sea view but I understand whats happens the hotel change my reservation because they need that room for group they took 45 rooms and my reservation before the group and don't have more rooms So they did that with me.

Its an affordable place to stay. I took the standard single room and was surprised by how small it was (although it was clean and well prepared). Breakfeast was simple but good. The manager was helpful and friendly, he gave me a free access to the gym and the pool and a 25% discount on spa(provided by the elite duroy hotel). The staff were great and helpful, special thanks to the receptionists Nour and Mohammad who were always making sure i feel comfortable during my stay. The hotel's has a very good location near the sea

I travel a lot beacuse of my job. Lebanon is my 36th country where i have been in my life. I stayed in 607th room at 3 nights. It is a 4 stars hotel but not look like that. The hotel like 2 or 3 stars hotel There is no slippers in the rooms. Minibar is totally empty. There is a small bottle of water in the room. we reserved 2 people, they supposed to prepare the room for 2 people. There is no kettle in the room. i called the reseption and they send it to the room in 10 mins. The toilet siphon is broken alredy, it doesnt work properly. There is double glazed window, i saw some fingernails inside double glazed window. i will put the picture on it. if you pay some money it has to deserve it but this hotel doesnt deserve the room fee. The housekeepers are friendly and has smiling face. The television channels good enough. Room has a balcony. Location is ok, it is near seaside.

The location of the hotel is very good. Rooms are very basic. They look like a standard apartment bedrooms. A lot can be done in terms of lighting and decoration to make the stay more comfortable. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is excellent.

Receptionist "Magdolena" was very cooperative, friendly and helpful She did her best to upgrade our room to Elite hotel; which was very nice and comfortable, the rooms are clean and large enough to feel comfortable
