Burg Hotel Colmberg

It was excellent and very confitable. perhaps I have to visit there again.

A friend recommended that we stay at the castle. It did not disappoint. The staff is friendly, the rooms were nice and the food was delicious.

Peace and relaxation await at Burg Colmberg. A real castle in the heart along the German romantic road. There is are no late night parties or loud music, just a quite countryside castle experience ready to give you a good nights sleep and prepare you for the next business day. If you don’t mind a short drive in to the country Berg Colmberg may be the place for you. Rooms are a bit small and the dining room was closed during my visit but I will return. Great hotel

This is a charming castle hotel in beautiful countryside! I had stayed here once before during the summer and it is charming any time of year. On my previous visit, tables and chairs were set up in the courtyard for outdoor dining near the fountain which was lovely. This fall, we had a chance to experience the cozy dining rooms inside which we also loved. The hotel service was amazing, the property is very pet friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit :)

Beautiful views and outdoor patio/dining area. Friendly staff. The room was large. The venison was incredible. Loved exploring the inside.

The castle is incredibly charming and secluded. Perfect for a romantic weekend. The pillows left a little bit to be desired for comfort, but the kind and patient receptionists as well as the AMAZING food definitely took the focus. We are planning on returning!

Spent the last night of a week long road trip through Bavaria here. Was a top notch experience throughout. The hotel was well cleaned and maintained, staff were pleasant and helpful. Dinner was fantastic especially in the outdoor courtyard. I highly recommend one of the rooms in the older castle part. We stayed in the corner suite at the end of the hall (I don't recall the name) and it was perfect. Would definitely visit again for a unique and relaxing stay.
