Burg Hotel Colmberg

it's a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. You can tell that the owners invested a lot of effort into making the property comfortable, and still preserving the historical feel and look. Rooms are very comfortable, the restaurant on the premise serves the best German food I've ever had.

We loved staying here! The castle staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was yummy and the bed was comfy. The castle is decorated authentically. Overall, we loved it and would stay there again.

I highly recommend a couple of nights here to relax while exploring the area. The views are stunning, the castle fun to explore, the food amazing, and the owners delightful. Make sure to watch the sunset.

The castle was beautiful and the room we stayed in was pretty much modern. One should make time to go around the inside and outside of the castle. There are nice antique things and a beautiful chapel. It was much like a museum. The service was good and the breakfast was wonderful. The downside is, the room was too small and there were no amenities like lotions and others that would pamper a guest, considering that you're staying in a castle. Location was fine, not too far from Rothenburg ob de Tauber.

Perfect hideaway location. Just enough modern touches to make the stay comfortable. Must eat at restaurant for dinner. We loved our stay!

Staff was amazing castle and it’s history are incredible

What a treat to stay in such a charming and historic castle. The accommodations were comfortable and the views and surrounding area were truly special. It was so nice to find something so charming and unique on Hotels.com. Food was delicious and the service was excellent - except for the front desk lady who was rather abrupt.

Our experience was amazing! The staff is very helpful and friendly. Everyone spoke English. I loved the unique touches such as all the little nooks and rooms you can hang out in. They also have an enclosed deer preserve where they get their own venison for meals. It felt magical, like being in the Jane Eyre novel. Newly renovated and very clean- I wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazingly comfortable for an old castle! Great view. Variety for breakfast.
