Meliá Tortuga Beach - All Inclusive

We have enjoy our holiday in Cape Verde, the hotel was very nice and clean, we would recommend this hotel to all families, great atmosphere and lovely people. Antonio was great, he has organised a local tours

Me and my husband have Just come back from a lovely relaxing holiday at the melia tortuga beach ⛱️...great holiday so chilled lovely hotel staff are so lovely all work so hard always a big smile from all the guys...big shout out to Edmilson the best smoothie maker in cape verde always happy always busy always smiling always positive 😃 also shout out to all bar staff restaurant staff and Ricardo such a lovely guy always smiling ....gardens are kept beautiful by the gardeners always happy and cheerful ...if you want a lovely relaxing winter holiday this place won't disappoint....food is lovely too so much choice 😊 thankyou melia tortuga beach

If you're here, check out the guided tour with Ailton. He's a good guy, speaks good english, and takes you to some very nice places. Bathe in the salty lake, go into tge ocean with sharks, and get the view of the entire island. It's a whole day experience outside and best to travel in private minivan. Talk to Antonio at the hotel. The proximity to the beautiful beach ⛱️, layout, landscape. The room was spacious. Food in the restaurant was big variety, staff very professional and friendly.

The rough start, unnecessary stressful communication regarding the accommodation. La cucaracha on the last day in the restaurant. The hotel needs to invest into refurbishment of the rooms, they ask to be renovated.

We had an absolutely excellent stay at Meliá Tortuga in Cabo Verde. Everything about the hotel was outstanding, from the service to the entertainment, but the food and dining truly stood out. The quality and variety of the food were exceptional and noticeably better than at other Meliá properties we’ve visited. The atmosphere was fantastic, the entertainment was enjoyable, and every meal was a highlight. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we genuinely had the best time there. We would happily return and highly recommend Meliá Tortuga to anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing holiday.

Antonio is the best! He is always checking in if all it's okay and what needs to be sorted. He is great with the kids. May leadership never forget that is the staff warmth that keeps the clients coming back. Alicia, Ricardo, Nataly and all the staff are going to Ireland in our hearts.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay. This hotel from check in to check out was very good. The room was massive and cleaned almost daily. The food was very good plenty of choice. The pool areas and pool bar were very clean. Plenty of sunbeds and safe. The hotel has additional restaurants which you can book into. Our favourite was La Cabana as the food and staff were brilliant. Special thankyou to Daniel, Ricardo, Ericskson Lucibella, Eileen, and Orlandina for making us feel so welcomed at each visit . Only thing we we a little disappointed in was the size and quality of the entertainment and its area. Overall a hotel we would like to go back too.

An amazing stay at this hotel. Just returned from a 10 day all inclusive stay at Melia Tortuga. Exceeded my expectations in some many ways. Check in was smooth. We had an issue with the lock on the room door and the in-suite safe which were resolved promptly. The room itself was a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms, lounge and kitchen. The beds were so comfy and the room was very well appointed with a kettle, microvave, walk-in shower, a/c, room safe etc and they supply 2 big bottles of water a day together with tea. There are TVs in both the lounge and bedroom. Cleaning team were in daily and jept the room spotless, a total credit to the hotel. There are 4 restaurants on site plus the main buffet. We ate at Pasta Nostra(Italian), The Secret Garden and Le Cabana (Grill). Wow .. the food here is really good. You also have snacks available at he pool bar. The pools plus the beach are out of this world. Minor criticism is that some of the tiles are missing at several of the pools. Not unsafe but a little unsightly but it didnt affect the holiday. There is a gym on site which is very well equiped, a spa and several shops for incidentals, souvenirs etc. All the people that work at the hotel are amazing. So very friendly, professional and helpful. From the bar staff to gardeners, i can honestly say that at no time did we feel unhappy or unsafe. There is evening entertainment every night with the Circus show a particular favourite plus some great live singers and animation team shows. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel and cant lie was unhappy to be leaving to go home. Would happily have stayed longer.

The beach.

The hotel is very tired. The pools all need updating and repairing. WiFi was terrible. The food was acceptable but very monotonous. It is not 5 start as advertised. More like 3 star and it’s definitely not all inclusive. More full board. While the drinks are on tap. You can only get food at set times. Which in my experience is not all inclusive. Bar staff are very inattentive and slow. But the weather of great as a positive.
