Ocean Street Inn on Hyannis Harbor

Have to check in at property 500 ft up the road. Waited in line for almost an hour to check in . Staff was not very friendly or helpful. The check in property was very nice but the property we stayed at was old and very run down . There was no staff there,kids were weaving between cars in the parking lot with electric scooters . The floors of the so called balcony were just painted plywood our screen door was broken. It was over priced . I would not recommend anyone stay here.

There was no one in the office. You had to walk way down the street to check in at a different hotel. Because there was no management on the premises, teenagers were running around, pounding on floors and walls. We also found out that there was an extra charge once we checked of $70.

check in time is not until 4pm and would not let us check in early. Bathroom smelled like mold. Room was clean but musty.

Room was ok. I can tell the room was recently updated. The windows didn’t lock which was weird but I think the area was safe. The pool was closed and in really bad shape. If we wanted a hotel we could use the sister property so that’s good. Overall the place needs updating but was cheap enough Also check in took forever because the line was enormous

This whole trip wasn't so good. It's run down paint chipping , wallpapwr was chipped off and can see the wall all dellapitates and unsafe deck that when you step out it is all rotted. Door the key doesn't work at time. This is the last time I will come here for sure. . so the main reason I am writing this bad review is our plans. We paid 184.00 which included the resort fee.when we got here they wanted another 40 dollars and didn't get explained to me. It's another 50 for holding in case something happens. Besides the fact that room has ants .

Rooms have been updated, slightly. We rented 3 room for a night while we toured Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard during the day. It seems there are some people who rent rooms on a long term basis. There was a group of 8-10 people sitting in a circle shot gunning beer and partying outside one room on the ground floor. They were yelling and running around the parking lot until 11:30ish at night. Rooms had flies and mosquitos. The second floor walkway is painted plywood. The parking lot lights were not all working and we felt unsafe. In order to checkin you had to walk 500 ft to another hotel. Checkin was very slow as management only had one desk person on duty. We were charged a $38 amenity fee- per room- for what??? The pool looked unusable. I would NEVER stay at his motel again and I encourage anyone looking for a room close to the ferry to look else where!

i never checked in. the outside looked delapitaded, dirty- looked like a bed bug haven-

Our stay was good, everything we needed and wanted to experience was In minute walking distance from our hotel. The room was clean bedding was as well. Our bathroom cloths and towels were very nice! Loved our stay we will be coming back.
