David was very friendly and welcoming. The Merchant House is very close to the quayside, pubs and restaurants. Free parking was a bonus too. Excellent breakfast.

Really enjoyed my stay it was clean and tidy and owner made you feel at home. Breakfast was amazing would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in Poole. Very close to the Quay too.

"Buisness trip"

Booked in at the Merchant house for one night on a business trip, David was very helpful and had a welcoming personality, the room I stayed in was a little on the small side and could have done with blackout blinds as the street lights, car park lights. and adjacent building lights did make me feel like it was the middle of the day not the middle of the night. having said that the bed was very comfy. Breakfast is amazing and David is a great host!

The property is in a perfect location for the marina, shops and restaraunts. The owner David is so accommodating and goes out of his way to ensure your stay is perfect. Lovely home cooked breakfast. I highly recommend.

"The Merchant House, Poole, Dorset"

This B & B is amazing. So full of character. Immaculate, tastefully and stylishly decorated. Perfect position in the heart of Poole, close to the quay. The owner David, makes you feel so welcome, I felt like family. I have stayed in many top class hotels, but have never had such a breakfast!
