Homely, quiet, off the beaten track, close enough to motorway

The location for me was perfect. As did not drive to location. Very beautiful place, friendly.clean and fresh. Nice friendly pub next door. Lovely food. A little corner of peace for me, something that I needed. Would recommend to stay. Lovely people beautiful place to stay.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, travelling alone for work they made me feel very welcome and safe. The location was lovely, peaceful and quiet. The room facilities were good and it's nice they have a wind down room you can relax in and have a drink - that was nice added bonus. The bed was huge and super comfy, I had a really good nights sleep.

There were a lot of cobwebs and spiders in the room which I am okay with but attention to detail and cleaning those away would have improved my score. In the height of summer it was a really hot day and so a fan in the room would have been beneficial and good to make it a bit more comfortable.

Everything was great, easy to find, greeted by the hosts. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, loved the atmosphere. Offered us breakfast if we wanted it and let us know the price. Recommended the pub next door for dinner. Went for a work down to the old mill where we were able to see some wild deer.

Problem with wi-fi but it was soon sorted

Everything! From the. Moment that I arrived I was greeted by Jan the owner who escorted me to my room and. Explained about the WiFi and also facilities in the local area. The room was large and extremely comfortable. The shower room was clean and inviting with plenty of towels provided. The hair and body shampoo was quality. The breakfast was vast and comprehensive. The setting and grounds were immaculate and well tended. Taking coffee in the morning sunshine was particularly pleasant. Car parking was adequate for all the guests. Finally, the hosts, David and Jan, made my 3 days visit some of the best hotel stays that I have experienced. I would highly recommend and hope to return in the near future. A marvellous expererience.

We loved our stay! The ambiance, the amazing breakfast, the beautiful walks and proximity to the airpot from this location. The owners are exceptional, I highly recommend staying at the Ash Farm country House!
