Citrus Hotel Cheltenham by Compass Hospitality

Just what was needed as a base for a quick visit to family before Christmas. Comfortable and clean room, with underground parking for residents. A good selection of options for breakfast. Central to the area I was visiting, the car stayed put once parked until departure.

We arrived and the first room we was out Into was room 109 it was filthy there was black bits in the bathroom draws and dust well was Thick and everywhere so we approached front desk and complained immediately they said we could move and agree with us and upgraded us to a suite upon the second floor 217 loverly clean room But problems struck again the heating didn’t work and the staff couldn’t get it to work In the words basil faulty it was flue bard so a portable Heater was given to us after three hours and kept On the room was kind of a tick ( But which room Don’t have plug sockets next to the bed I Thought this was stupid but the rest of the room was great laid out well as. We enjoyed Despite the start and the ups and downs downs don’t let it put you of the hotel is. Very well located and the staff are just fabulous and awesome they work there socks of to make sure your stay goes well :) 10/10 staff 10/10 Breakfast it’s simple and cheap 7/10 for rooms and laid out and cleaness levels 4/10 Bar don’t have a great selection and. No sprits 10/10 for location

Convenient location, plenty of dining options walking distance.

The hotel has a great location with underground parking for £10 a night (tight spaces so careful if you have a big car). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable - a great, value hotel with everything we needed. Would stay again.

The hotel is ok, gave YMCA hostel vibes. The most disappointing part was the breakfast, you can hardly call that a breakfast, its just toast bread, some croissants and pastries. If you love hot breakfasts like me then this is a no. Wasnt the cleanest hotel too. Thought it was overpriced, paid £104 for a Wednesday night, middle of the month. Was underwhelmed, and wont be staying there again thats for sure.

Central location, quiet and comfortable (although the double bed was two singles pushed together). Will happily stay again for work visits.

Very centrally positioned by many pubs and bars etc. Was quite expensive for a Saturday night but hotel is ok. Just needs a bit of TLC.

This hotel was awful. The room was dirty and the reception staff didn’t seem to care. Would not stay in this hotel ever again. Definitely avoid!!!!!
