Nice staff, lovely room, all was good wigh the whole stay.

The location of the hotel is so convenient because is just close to High Street, shops and restaurants. The hotel has parking and is very easy to find.

Ageing Concrete block, good location

Convenient location in town centre. Plenty of selection of eateries close by. The hotel staff were friendly but the accommodation is in need of updating but perfectly adequate if all that is required is a basic hotel room with bathroom at a very competitive price.

The hotel was dirty & mouldy. Found a nail clipping by the bed so God knows when the carpets were last cleaned. Dust on every surface and mould around the windows. Bathroom was mouldy and not very clean. Staff at front desk very helpful and polite.

Location was excellent. Could have done ewith extra pillows. However cannot complain as the price was excellent. We slept well and we're allowed to check-in early which was really good. Bathroom clean.

Stayed here 2 nights for our little getaway and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable and nice it was. From the outside looks a little rundown but the reception area was decent. Our room (302) was large, comfortable and had all that we needed. The only issue I had was our room was poorly decorated (water stains on ceiling, poor painting really old feeling towels) and needed an upgrade and a few other areas in the hotel. I’m not trying to be picky but as a decorator I do notice these things but it could be so much better with a little upgrade. Saying this, we would stay here again as it ideally located to the town centre. Staff were also really good.

Good: room was fine, very comfortable bed, cleaner was friendly. Acceptable budget hotel. Bad: desk clerk told me the parking charge was £8 but when I returned with the car later he tried to charge me £10. I didn’t fall for it. Maybe I should give him the benefit of doubt but I got the feeling it was deliberate. No apology was forthcoming.

Room was dirty , the duvet smelled of sweat and the carpet was filthy. Fi xtures and fittings were broken.
