AC Hotel by Marriott Bella Sky Copenhagen

Large suite, especially the Europe! Great design! Small bathroom/ limited counter space/ and tired carpet in hallways. Great breakfast buffet! Definitely worth adding it before arriving! Taxis & Ubers always available and needed since it is a bit off the beaten path and away from the central areas. Easy to get around though so the cost savings was still there vs. staying more centrally to the city.

I stayed from July 25-20 in one room and had to move to a different room since my next stay of 5 days is a standard room. I am ok with the move. But the first night after the move, I found the shower place was clogged and I could not take a shower. I had to wipe dry and get dressed without finishing the shower, waiting for it to be fixed. A cleaning guy came, as there is no available plumber at 12am at night. After the fix, the smell was horrible, I had to closed the bathroom door, can not use the bathroom or shower. Of course, there is no way to take a shower at that time. They probably fixed it again the second day with a plumber, I was able to take shower the second day. However, the process make you feel that they do not care much. I was happy before I moved, but after this incident, I am disappointed.

While the outside is quite stunning, our shower drain was backed up and the extra bed wasn't very comfortable.

We are staying here for 6 nights. Just this morning while we were having our buffet breakfast, a korean tourist was shouting and running after a man who was stealing his backpack when he was busy picking up his meal. This hotel must really improve the security in the hotel. 🙏🙏

I booked this hotel for a conferrence via booking.com given that my institution requires this. I then found out that the other conference attendees only paid half of what I paid. I paid 700 euro per night and I did not even have shampoo in the room (the bottle was empty). At check-out, they did not even want to store my luggage. And when I confronted them with the huge price difference, they made no effort whatsoever. Very disappointed in this hotel. Not worth it at all.

AC Bella hotel is located near the airport, has a functional gym, and a golf course near by for runs and walks. There is a nice 2.5 mile loop that goes around the golf course. The hotel also has major disadvantages — no room service and limited food and coffee options. For a large conference of ours, they were simply overwhelmed by the volume of clients. Rooms are spacious but basic. Also, to go to a gym from tower 1, you have to do a « walk of shame » (sweaty) across the bridge connecting the two towers — not a clever design. Also, it is far from downtown and there is not luck around. If you are looking to explore the city, I’d suggest staying elsewhere.

I’ve stayed here for a couple of nights and the hotel itself is very, very big, so walking to and from breakfast for example can take some time. But the way is worth it, as the breakfast was very good and I’d say worth the price. The rooms were slightly old/worn down. The furniture is modern and nice looking but shows signs of use. I ended up switching rooms as my first room was a little too worn down for my taste, but the 2nd room was ok. If you want to stay here for a city trip that is also possible as the public transport is a short walking distance from the hotel and the transport to the city centre doesn’t take too long either. All in all I was satisfied with the overall experience and can recommend a stay if this location fits your itinerary.

Stayed here for a few days celebrating a special birthday. The hotel is nice with good size rooms and a nice bathroom. There’s a safe, mini fridge and hot water kettle in the room. Service was good overall. The lobby restaurant was ok but too pricey like everything in Copenhagen. There are a few restaurants a short walk away closer to the Bella Center tram station. The tram is convenient to go to the city center. Hotel is not too far from the airport. Lots of Uber and Taxis easily available. Was a good stay.
