Courtyard by Marriott York

I had to clean my room after being switched twice because the rooms had never been cleaned!

This was the worst Marriott my family and I have stayed at. We paid a little more to come and relax in the hot tub after a long travel day. The hot tub was cold and the other guests were rude playing very loud music in the pool area and smoking right outside with the door open letting their cigarette smoke flow into the area. Our room had a very odd odor and there was black mold at the base of the shower that we had to step over to get into the shower. I had to make a noise complaint after midnight because the kids in the room above us were bouncing basketballs and yelling while we were trying to sleep. I’m very disappointed in this stay as we usually choose Marriotts for their facilities. If we stay over in the area again, we will not be staying here.

I like the location of the hotel, and parking.

The hotel room wasn’t that clean especially the bathroom where the shower was. When entering the room there wasn’t enough towels, wash cloths, or toilet paper.

I stayed for 4 days and i kept telling them that my fridge was broken and no one bothered to come check it out. My kids went to the pool and the water is not chlorine or clean, caught a tic from the pool.

Clean and comfy. Stayed for a bball tournament. Laundry was out of order which was rough with stinky uniforms but we made due. Bartender and front desk and housekeeper were all awesome!

I cancelled my reservation a week prior to my stay. I was still billed-on my company card for $748.00. I called the hotel when I was billed and they saw my cancellation, and knew I hadn't stayed, but could not help me. I have emailed the customer service corporate email account. Received one email back in response asking for information, which I provided. I have gotten no responses since and the charge still stands.

This is a nice hotel and clean. Easy in and out. I'd come back.

Our family stay started out next door at the TownePlace Suites, but we quickly changed hotels and moved to the Courtyard. What a difference!! I cannot say enough about the amazing professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction of one particular employee - Izzy. He truly rocks! Such a positive and outgoing personality, and he goes out of his way to make sure guests have what they need and are enjoying their stay. Additionally, Daryl, who works in the maintenance area and is relatively new at the property, is a wonderfully kind man that works so hard to keep things clean and running while he is working. He was so friendly and whole he was always busy, he still shared a smile and kind words. The hotel is well maintained and comfortable and is in a good central location for both visiting York, as well as other vacation spots in Pennsylvania. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.

The front desk clerk Jordan was the perfect host, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible from check in to check out. I brought my 13 year old, who loved the gym and pool amenities. A+++ hotel…and I don’t say that often!
