Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Bloomfield

rooms were very clean the staff was fantastic....when we come back to the area again we will absolutely come back to cobblestone.......Kallie and her husband were the best !!!!!

Overnight

Asked for late checkout on a two-day stay. Was yelled at by an Indian woman and told I had to get out by 1:00 because they were sold out. I stayed in lobby to watch people check in. Few older Amish couples for a funeral. Bryson Sines was at the desk, great young man. Indian woman Kelly Patel horrible, no clue how to treat people in the hospitality business. Grew up in this town, back two or three times a year for several days. Will never stay here again! Ottumwa for me. So much yelling

The front desk man yelled at my 4 year old to get out when he was looking for us. We had rented several rooms and a large group. More than one occasion he was rude and accusing people, one example accused someone of stealing a bottle of water that they had just paid a woman at the front for.

Staff was great and friendly.

We enjoyed the in room jacuzzi and used it three times during our two day stay. The complimentary breakfast was excellent! I had the biscuits with gravy and sausages. The biscuits were very light, fluffy, and tasty and the sausage was juicy and flavorful. I would have preferred half and half for the coffee instead of the powdered creamer or 2% milk.

We were in town for the night and decided to stop here to sleep. Well try to sleep, the bed we had was the most uncomfortable bed we’ve slept in for quite a while, wonder if it’s an original mattress? The things they call pillows were just as bad as the mattress or even worse. Also if you stop here and plan to watch football in the fall and winter this hotel doesn’t carry the top 4 national channels. Game breaker for me and I don’t watch that much tv. Would have rated it lower but as I stated it was very clean an quiet and the people were very nice and helpful. Guess I just set in my ways.
