Spa was closed and no compensation offered. I know other people who stayed for a less time than us where given money back on their booking.

Hotel was as expected based on the reviews I had read. It was a lovely building but a little dated inside.

Was just a bit tired.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff.

I experienced a number of issues with the bathroom facilities, particularly due to significant limescale build-up. The bath plug was so heavily affected that it would not go down properly, meaning I was unable to use the bath at all. In addition, the tap was leaking, which further added to the inconvenience. I was moved to another room in an attempt to resolve the issue, however the same standard was not maintained there either. In that room, the bath plug would not come out, again making it impossible to empty the bath. Overall, the condition of the facilities suggests that the property is in need of maintenance and investment. It appears overdue for refurbishment and general upkeep to bring it back to the standard it likely once offered.

The hotel was a bit tired and dated.

Room was amazing and we were upgraded upon arrival which was a nice surprise. The food was excellent when we stayed for dinner the evening of arrival.

Beautiful building, nice rooms. Really lovely, friendly and helpful staff

Only thing was we requested a ground floor room for my disabled niece which we got, but there were a few steps down. Shame there wasn’t a ramp but not too big a problem
