We recently stayed here as part of out trip to Sicily and were really impressed with this fantastic hotel. We had originally planned to visit in July but due to an illness in the family we had to cancel. Fortunately we managed to rebook and we were so glad we did. We stayed in room 106 with was huge and had the largest shower that I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The reception staff were extremely friendly and very helpful arranging our transfer from our previous hotel. The pool area is gorgeous and the sunbeds are very comfortable. We did not eat at the hotels restaurant as we had done fine dining at our previous place and wanted to try somewhere local but no doubt that would have been a great experience. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty with the option of choosing from a menu as well. All in all a very pleasurable stay, we only wished we could have stayed longer as we had previously planned. Großzügige Anlage , gutes Frühstück und eine schöne Bar

Beautiful and quaint hotel in the perfect location. The room we booked (Junior Executive Suite) was a good size and it was also well equipped. The breakfast setting and selection was great as well. The pool is also nice and chill.

The service could do with some work. I work with hospitality a lot and i find that the service was somewhat on the drier side of things. Some of my simple requests were denied (like moving from one lunch table to another, beside the pool). The main building, the 'castello' is also somewhat off-limits. It would've been cool to explore it or live in it.

Wir waren zwei Nächte dort. In der zweiten Nacht fand auf der Hotelanlage eine Hochzeit statt. Schlafen war unmöglich. Die Hochzeitsgäste waren sehr laut und die Musik, lief auch weit in die Nacht. Wir dachten im Anschluss wäre Ruhe, jedoch fing früh morgens die Reinigung der Hochzeit an. Es wurde ziemlich laut, weil irgendwelche Reinigungswagen über die Strasse geschoben wurde. Ws klapperte und schepperte. Schlafen unmöglich. Wir hatten das beim Check Out freundlich erwähnt, dies wurde von der Reception mit einem Handwink abgetan. Das nächste Mal werden wir wohl stärker Reklamieren und auch gleich mitten in der Nacht. Für eine Nacht nicht schlafen hätten wir zumindest ein Nachlass erwartet.

Beautiful grounds and setting with close location to the beach. Beds large and comfortable and excellent breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Our bathroom large with lovely bay window but no overhead shower (handheld only) and the floor remained wet due to poor drainage. Water bottle never replaced and small hanging space for clothes but overall the room worked well

Had no idea what to expect but absolutely loved the castle and its grounds. Great peaceful area and slightly rural but still very near a town and civilisation, a 15 minute car and or taxi ride to Taormina, but a 5 minute car drive to the nearest town for basics and cafes. The grounds were beautiful as well as the buildings, beach and pool. Amazing attentive staff and beautiful spacious rooms. Definitely best for a peaceful weekend and would love to return.

Beautiful place, lovely grounds, pool and buildings

We just had a double room which was fine although for the price and rating of hotel we thought the room would have been slightly better. Hotel missing a trick. Dining in restaurant was a beautiful setting but fine dining menu only. Would benefit from also having a regular menu which would mean more people would stay in hotel for dinner rather than going out. No restaurants locally were any good, it meant a journey into Taormina every night, sometimes after a long day out and about it would have been nice to eat at the hotel
