The clean modern rooms . The outdoor bath was very different . Staff very friendly.

Still some work going on so car park for the Beach House was quite full with contractors vans. Odd design of wardrobe and television unit sharing the same doors

Great location in between Sandsend and Whitby. Staff are super friendly and efficient. Hotel is modern and clean

Bedroom was not well equipped which was surprising for such a modern hotel. We stayed in the Beach House which is an annexe about 300 yards from the main hotel. The room had virtually no storage for clothes. There was a tiny amount of hanging space in a cupboard which also had an ironing board, tea and coffee making and a safe. There was a table with 2 tiny drawers and that was all. We stayed for 3 nights and could not unpack our clothes. The bathroom had no shaving point. It only had one sink (2 are usual these days) and a small mirror. There was no shaving mirror and no tooth brush glass.

The beach house was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and Saltmoore is in an ideal location in Sandsend just out of the hustle and bustle of Whitby but within walking distance down the lovely sandy beach. The staff are exceptionally welcoming offering a helping hand at all times, always with a smile.
