Untrained and inexperienced staff, amount of food and drink items unavailable on the menus, understaffed, no restricted areas for children so not a relaxing space for single adults

The location and facilities were great, staff very attentive and friendly and the room was excellent. We stayed in the Saltburn Suite which was great, very clean, spacious and nicely decorated, top marks!

We booked through Booking.com as a platform that we often use to discover places to stay in our selected area. We weren't made aware, at the time of booking that the booking wouldn't include access to the Spa and gym facilities which we had to pay an extra £45 each for and the kids, although they were not charged, we're only allowed access to the pool, not the spa, for one hour of our 2 hour slot, which we felt was a little steep, especially as this was not made clear at the time of booking? This I feel should be communicated better between the hotel and the booking platform, at our time of booking!

Fabulous spa experience and spa cafe fantastic !

The lady managing breakfast and supervising staff was unpleasant and very unwilling to accommodate five of us together in the orangerie for breakfast notwithstanding there was plenty of room. Very very surprising and unprofessional. I had to insist and inform her we would split up as a family but into the orangerie we were going !!!
