Renaissance Sanya Haitang Bay Resort

Enjoy so much especially at the Spa, nice staffs and overall hotel are with good services.

After tiring holidays in Europe and before start working again in China, I went with my wife to take some rest. We were looking for the place where we can have real passive rest without visiting tourist sites, without any pressure, excitements and "musts". We just wanted to swim, eat and sleep... In Renaissance Sanya Resort we found what we needed. Nice big room with the pool entrance, variety of pools all around, beautiful sand beach surrounded with jungle style park on one side and "wild" beautiful see with waves that one can play with on the other, very nice restaurant with good and not expensive food, friendly stuff that made our stay indeed relaxing. Although it is a big resort, one cannot feel it and can have privacy. Only few things were bothering us a bit: Breakfast room can be bigger. It is too small for all the guests that want to eat in the same time. The choice of food is regular, but it takes too much time to stand in the lines and fight for food and a table. If you don't like children, it is not the best place for you. Too many noisy Chinese children that are not taking care about your need for privacy can spoil your peaceful holidays. Also, the boys that are working as guards can be less visible. Regardless all those minor things, I can recommend Renaissance Sanya Resort for your peaceful holiday.

Anfahrtsbeschreibung ist falsch!!! Das Hotel liegt zwar an der Haitang Bay, wegen einer Flussmündung kommt man allerdings nur über die Autobahn zu den anderen Hotels beim Atlantis und dem Shoppingcenter

We had a nice time in Sanya but found the hotel was very tired and needs an overhaul. The room we stayed in was big but the furnishings were old. The pool was great but could have done with more seating and more pool bar options. Big plus for us was the Manager Anna, she was helpful, efficient and her english was excellent. I think we would have struggled if we didn't have her.

At first glance the hotel is impressive with a large lobby and expansive grounds. But the little things start to add up, detracting from the overall experience. Missing staff: go to get a towel for the pool and the kiosk is empty. Found the staff member though, smoking and in his phone around the corner. Room: it's ok but it has that made in a developing country feel. Items are not installed right, switches are tilted. Doors slats not straight. And from my balcony was large patches of where they fixed the wall, but looks like a construction site unfinished. I call it the Chinese building code. Broken in 1 year Pool: large but full of weeds and leaves. Broken tiles cut me three times on my foot. Water was too warm and smelt. So yeh overall it's ok. But I would t come back as those little detractions add up

這酒店靠近的海灘和游泳池是不錯的，但酒店位罝十分偏僻荒涼，附近沒有食店，只有在酒店內的餐廳，但價錢很貴。酒店內的設施都幾乎要收費，而且偏貴。因為酒店離市區十分遠，酒店來往市區的接駁巴士每天只有兩班，建議岀外要包車或自駕遊。酒店設備比想像中舊，露台多昆蟲。

It's a grand hotel, but didnt feel like a Marriot. But anyway, the price is low, so lower your expectations as well. The hallways to the rooms are dirty, the room given to us is very far, not cozy at all. The food service at the lounge is very slow, took more than half an hour before our food arrived, and very expensive! The beach has strong currents. The other beaches has strong currents but they provisioned some floats with ropes so you can hold onto those, and be protected by the floats. There's nothing like this at Reinnaisance, so we didn't use the beach. The pool however is awesome! Very big, and very nice.

Advantages: * very good f&b offers, reasonable prices on wines and beers * spacious room * welcoming smiling hostess at add. * very good breakfast offer. * nice&green hotel area. Disadvantages: * rooms need renovation. A piece of wall crashed into a bathtub at 5am in the morning. Almost had a heart attack * terrible follow up by management team. There is was no any follow up after the incident. Only when I come over to gsm desk and ask for manager on duty they met me and apologized. Before that acted like nothing happened. * no sunbeds on the beach * not enough sunbeds in pool area * chef at add doesn’t know what omelet is * add associate doesn’t know what is double espresso * very slow service at all outlets. Might be due to lack of staff or low efficiency * poor afternoon tea offer.

The hotels are not being maintained sufficiently. Staff speaks little english.Wifi in the room is almost useless.

Beautiful grounds, very nice resort . Family friendly , Beautiful ocean view . Only negative :Lacks long hours coffee-shop facility. Reasonably priced.
