MAZI Design Hotel by Kalima

I stayed for 3 nights at 42 GBP a night and this included a 76% discount and thought it was overpriced. Bed was rock hard but this is normal for Thailand but for the price i paid i expected better..the view at the side of hotel overlooking the River was not the best..looking at dump waste..but the staff at the reception were great and friendly. If you have a room overlooking the pool don't expect a lie in because you will hear people jumping in the pool and chatting. The shower was good with a drencher shower and the rooms modern. Its a good 20 mins walk to Bangla Road were all the main bars.

Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, lovely room and staff very friendly and helpful. Only downfall is the room had storage but was all open and had no drawers to put clothes, not a problem if u like it to look messy but if your like me it has to be tidy and put away. Also pool doesn't get any sun so can't sunbathe and pool was always freezing. but very close to beach so not a problem.

The Hotel was great, a nice art hotel the service was great to, very freindly and it was nice to get back to a clean room every day, the only bad thing was, that it is very near the Simon cabaret which made sleeping a bit difficult, other then that I recommend this hotel!

Not worth the room rate they charge.Room wasn't the same for what we paid.Had to ask for a change of room.Breakfast was average.

This is by far the worst hotel my friends and I stayed at throughout our 21 days trip. We stayed at approximately 10 different hotels with various star ranks in different southeast Asia cities throughout this trip. This one is a huge disappointment. I do not recommend booking this hotel, if you plan on doing so, please read some of the reviews on google before booking this hotel. Below is a brief list of - fist thing I saw when I was at the hotel was a mouse running around the swimming pool - NO ELEVATOR in the back of the building. Advertised on the web that there is elevator and then when they give us a room on the third floor with no elevator access meaning that we have to carry our luggage up 3 floors. - very bad customer service! I hurt my back a few days before so the day before our departure we informed the receptionist that we will need someone to carry down our luggage, however on the day of the departure, the lady came up and said "sorry we don't have anyone available to carry luggage, maybe you and I can both carry it downstairs." It was nice that she offers, but I just find the service unbelievable, I already informed them a day earlier that we need someone to carry the luggage a day and they still didn't provide the sufficient staffing/help. Of course in the end we pretty much have to drag our luggage down three floors.

It's really terrible experience for me and my girl friend, 1). we arrived to check in around 4 (suppose to be 2pm ) but the front desk staff claimed it's have to wait 15 mins and we are okay for that, but after around 20mins later, I ask the staff again , and she said : "no, it need more 30 mins ! Because many guests leaving " 2). No any Soundproofed inside room, you can completely heard the noise of street , voice of the corridor, even though the voice of "making love" next door !! And the staff was talk loudly out there when time was around 3-5 am !! How could sleep under such as a market ?! It's totally a badly experience for two of us! Can't believe it got high rate of this hotel, it's not to deserved !!!!

Pretty average hotel! Can easily get better for same price

Nice & clean room, spacious as well. Breakfast was not included and we paid a reasonable price SGD8-9/Pax, food was nice!

Poor breakfast with impolite restaurant staff. Staff insisted that our reservation is without breakfast until I showed him my reservation in my phone.

The pictures look way more better than the room itself, in the pool area it was smelling really bad and our room had a view on a landfill site
