Area of the hotel and the room are very spacious and clean, Important good security guards and the staffs are very friendly and well trained for their services. You can try their own Himawari Microbrewery beer and also try the Sunset Cruise just 3 mins walk from the hotel. Location is fantastic which within the city of Phnom Penh. I do recommend those family, group or couple consider to stay in Himawari Hotel. Yeah not forget, I love the swimming pool very much ! Thumbs up ! Rating 4/5

If you are looking for a homely, safe, clean, and pleasant place to stay in Phnom Penh, the Himawari Hotel Apartments is the place to check out. It also has an excellent and convenient location, overlooking the banks of the Tonle River (Mekong). Behind it is a walking path, popular with strollers, especially in the early morning and evening. What a treat to be able to see the early rising sun from the comfort of my bed! Another commendable feature of this hotel is the quality of the well-trained and highly motivated staff. You can immediately feel the warmth and welcome as you arrive at the reception. They are extremely polite, helpful, and pleasant to guests and may even get to address you by name after a day or two. Everyone is worthy of mention, but I would like to single out front reception staff, Sroun, who was so attentive, helpful, and proactive. Another outstanding staff was the lady who manned the noodles and eggs stall. My local friend helped me to order two soft-boiled eggs, Singapore-style, during my first breakfast. She did it perfectly, something that I failed to find in many other hotels. For the next few breakfasts, she brought me my two soft-boiled eggs even without me asking. What was more amazing was that she noticed that I went to the stall to look for soy sauce for my eggs. Henceforth, she brought me the soy sauce at every breakfast. What a gem! I was also happy with the spacious and very clean room allocated to me. It was very well furnished and decorated like a small apartment. I could stay here for a long time! This was my third stay in this fabulous hotel.

The staff are very friendly and give a good welcome. The facilities are good and the hotel is well located on the riverside. I booked a suite but was a little unhappy with the view and the number of kitchen utensils provided so the staff upgraded me to a one bedroom apartment, which was much appreciated. I was also able to check out late at no extra cost.

One of the best stays we’ve had in Cambodia. We booked 4D3N and were pleasantly surprised—our “room” was a full apartment: o 2 bedrooms (1 king, 2 singles) o 2 bathrooms o Kitchenette (microwave, induction stove, fridge, utensils) o Living room + balcony The washing machine (15-min cycle) was a major plus. With the heatwave, clothes dried within 1–2 hours, very practical with frequent change of clothes due to perspiration! After long, hot days out, it was a real relief to return to a cool, spacious suite, cook simple meals, and unwind. Housekeeping was excellent, daily cleaning and very detailed. 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 o Tennis court-facing units: some privacy concerns (can be seen from below) o Master bedroom curtains don’t fully block morning sun o Noticeable plumbing and toilet flushing noise o Limited English TV channels 𝐎𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐡 — 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 & 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 Located in the hotel lobby. Dinner: grilled salmon (good), Lok Lak (flavourful). Food selection with a mix of Western, Cambodian and some Singaporean options. Breakfast: small but decent mix of international and continental breakfast. 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 5–7 min walk to NagaWorld I & II 5–7 min walk to weekend night markets (Sat & Sun) 5–7 min walk to Royal Palace Phnom Penh Very convenient for both sightseeing and food options. 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐓 Comfortable, practical, and well-suited for longer stays or families. Would definitely return!

We can hear even motorcycles passing by. There is no sound protection. While night we couldn't sleep. We had to use earplugs and other night sleeping pills.
