Perfect location for the Playhouse, Calton Hill and city centre. Beautiful entrance and dining room. Nice large bathroom with equally large bath and shower.

Courtyard room is in effect a lower ground floor room

The beautiful house, The warm welcome, Comfortable bed, Charming hosts, Delicious breakfast! (With a nice selection of gluten free items)

My husband found the pillows a bit high for him, but he does like a wafer-thin one 😂

"Amazing place run by wonderful people who really care do not hesitate book now"

Everything - the place is in a beautiful building, inside and out. It even smells lovely. This is a place run by lovely people who genuinely care about what they do and the end result is a smooth running, beautifully appointed and very classy place to stay. We were in one of the basement rooms and could hear no noise from the road at all, and the building is just a short walk from everywhere you need to be. First class, will visit again.

The only thing I would change would be to request the check out time be 11 and not 10 on a Sunday. We had a late night on Saturday and really needed a lie in and a lazy Sunday morning - not to say we felt rushed about but booking.com does say 10 and we were only just after but that would be the single thing I would change.
