"Will Not Come Back-Overall Bad Experience"

2.0

CHECK-IN-Poor communication/inefficient/slow.When1of7 reservations not immediately found in the system,I was flustered when asked about vouchers.I had communication with R Guerra Central Reservation,no mention of vouchers.TOWELS-CHARGE FOR STEALING-P2000!Old thin dirtiesh white towels, not worth stealing much less ransom money! They treat guests like children, suspect thieves!ACCORDING TO MGR:WILL ONLY REPLACE (2)TOWELS PROVIDED,WILL NOT ADD TOWELS.Guests must wait for replacement towels.SERVICE-PATHETIC-replacement towels came 20-30 minutes later maddeningly blood curling!INADEQUATE A/C-units in 7 rooms not blew cool air to be comfortable.NO WI-FI IN ROOMS.REVERSE DISCRIMINATION: Person cooking omelets saw people waiting. It happened I was the only Filipino in line& was my turn. When 4 Koreans out of line cut in front of me, got theirs cooked, and another 2 so,then I spoke out: ‘It was my turn and why she was cooking for people who were out of line!’CHECK–OUT 1 ½ HOURS ADD INSULT TO INJURY-staff INVENTORIED EACH 7 ROOMS.A missing 1tsp & 1 cup which evidently picked up by housekeeping and never returned to the room caused delay checking us out. But, staff’s incompetence blamed on us? INFURIATING!Foreigners did not wait long but,we were suspect thieves!VOUCHER-Shouldn’t staff arrange to obtain voucher from Hotels.com than harass guests? I had to allow contents of my e-mail to front desk to find & print what they were looking for.Unbelievable!

"BAD customer policy 4 guests only two towels?"

2.0

THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT REFUSED TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TOWELS IN THE ROOM. EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW AND WERE TOLD THERE ARE FOUR PEOPLE IN EACH ROOM. ACCORDING TO MANAGER THEY ONLY REPLACE TOWELS NOT ADD TOWELS WHICH WAS VERY VERY SURPRISING TO SAY THE LEAST AND REAL BAD POLICY. HOW CAN THIS PARTICULAR HOTEL RESORT NOT PROVIDE ENOUGH TOWELS FOR GUESTS? TOWELS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE STAPLE PROVISION FOR GUESTS ESPECIALLY AT IN BORACAY.. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WERE VERY UNHAPPY GUESTS. TREATED LIKE THIEVES, CANNOT TAKE OUR SHOWER RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE WE HAD TO WAIT FOR HOUSEKEEPING WHO WILL NOT BRING THE REPLACEMENT TOWELS THE FIRST TIME THEY COME TO PICK UP THE WET TOWELS.. THEIR POLICY WAS PICK UP THE WET TOWELS GO DOWN TO (HOTEL'S ) LAUNDRY BASEMENT AREA DELIVER THE WET TOWELS, THEN GO UP THE SECOND TIME TO THE GUEST'S ROOM WITH THE TWO REPLACEMENT TOWELS.. ISN'T THAT MADDENINGLY ABSURD? WE NEVER IN OUR ENTIRE EXPERIENCE IN STAYING AT HOTELS ANYWHERE IN UNITED STATES, OTHER COUNTRIES AND CITIES IN PHILIPPINES TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS.. AND WE WERE TOLD IT'S THEIR POLICY??? WHAT ORDEAL. WE CANNOT GET ADDITIONAL TOWELS ENOUGH FOR FOUR PEOPLE UPON KNOWING THERE ARE 4 PEOPLE IN EACH ROOM WE RESERVED 7 ROOOMS!!! IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE EXPERIENCE.

"Good hotel once i was able to checkin"

6.0

Stayed 1 night at this hotel after i left it late to book an additional night at previous hotel. Was good to stay in a different area of Boracay. Unfortunately the main things that let this hotel down was its unreliable internet connection & speed(compared to previous hotel). Also, checkin time was 2pm and there was a lobby full of people awaiting to check in. Most places ive stayed before have rooms ready before and are more than willing to accomodate(excuse thepun). Although it wasnt much of a wait, i grabbed lunch in the meantime, however i still wasnt ableto checkin till about 230pm. Its wave rider machine was not working(blamed power but welcome to the Phillipines) but wave pool was working. Overall ok for a short stay or conference.

"family fun"

8.0

good place to stay if you have a family, and not all of you want the "noise" of the beach party all night. we had fun in wave pool, except that the surfing students posed real dangers to swimmers like us. shooing us non-surfers was irritating, especially when only the supposed "instructors" were surfing to show off/entice students. suggest you limit surfing class to times when swimmers are not allowed in pool, or vice versa.

"DON'T SHOW UP EARLY!!!"

10.0

Having to wait for our room until 2 pm when we arrived on the island @ 10 am was extremely disappointing. We had specified to the staff we would be arriving early and to accommodate us. We knew the hotel could, but chose not too. Wasn't until meeting one of the hotel head room service staff that we got some kindly attention and were allowed to check in 25 mins early (@ 1:35 pm) into our room. Otherwise, the stay was EXCELLENT!!!

"fantastic staff, location and good rooms."

8.0

very nice staff, fantastic swiming pool and relaxing outdoor area, nice bathroom finish, very close to the beach and few minutes away from d'mall (10-15min walk or 3-4min tricycle 60 peso each way which is £1). the breakfast in all the hotels we stayed at in boracay were more or less the same thing and same quality from the 2.5 star to 5 star hotels we stayed in. and lastly the staff... extremely kind and had the pleasure of meeting the manager whom was fantastic, kind and extremely polite and helpfull. overall i will recommend this hotel to any type of person.

"WORST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED AT."

2.0

We stay for 2 nights and our air conditioner was not working so we asked the staff to fix it. 2 hours later, after we had informed the front desk about our situation a staff comes along and plays around with the remote for a couple minutes and says that he would be back with someone who would fix the air conditioner. We had to wait another one and a half hour and came back with a technition and says he needs 30 minutes to fix the air conditioner and told us to stay in our rooms. We waited for 3 hours with no response at all especially after dinner. We decided to go up to the front desk to get some answers. They decided to move us to a different room. Apprently a better room that we were originally staying at. The room we moved to was filled with strong paint scent and was obviously not near completion and a view of the construction. We were furious so asked to speak to the maneger of the hotel within 5 minutes because i was tried of WAITING. 5 minutes later i get a call from a women, (NOT MANAGER) and told her this is honestly the worst hotel i had been too. All she could say to me is Im sorry but we didnt have any other rooms available. Not only this hotel ruined my day but my mini holiday to Boracay. You can definetly find a better hotel for better service, cheaper price and a better location. Im never ever coming to this hotel AGAIN. Must NOT recommend to anyone. I have attached photos of the original room and the room the they had moved us into.

"Overall a pleasing stay"

8.0

I thought the staff at the counter/reception area when I was checking in could have been more pleasing. I was just standing there for about a few seconds and the lady was just there sitting in front of the computer and whether she was really busy or not, I thought a simple greeting was in order. Instead, she continued with whatever she was doing at that time, totally ignoring me- another staff helped me, though, who was also there at that time.

"Nothing much to do"

4.0

The hotel is a 5 - 10 min walk from everything you'd like to do on Boracay. There is really nothing for adults to do - even the restaurant and lobby bar are unattractive. The rooms are pretty ok if you don't mind the noise - there is no soundproofing whatsoever.
