Parklane Hotel

Our first time in Siem Reap and was pleased with this hotel. The location was close enough to walk to Pub Street and the Night Markets yet far enough from them as well to be away from the noise and action of it. I would certainly consider this hotel again for further stays.

Parklane hotel is situated in the city center. It takes you less than 5 mins to get to the local supermarket, shopping mall and massage place. If you want to save the money for tuk tuk, you can walk to the night market. It takes you only 15 mins. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. One of the room that we've got has the air condition not working. We waited for around 30 mins to get the air-con fixed, but finally it didn't work, so we changed to another room. The air-con was dripping terribly in the second room, and 1/3 of the room was soaked with water. The thing that borders me the most is the mosquitos in the room. There are always quite a few of them flying in the room no matter how many I killed. I ended up putting mosquito repellent around my bed to protect myself being bitten. Besides the room and facilities, the hotel staff are friendly. They speak good english and reliable.

We stayed 3 nights in March, good budget hotel, very close or walking distance to the center. Staff very helpful, even after a power failure. Would recommend this hotel for a stay. Tuk Tuks available out front.

The hotel was very close to what I expected it to be. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast, etc. The location is good. One can walk to the Night Market area and to the Old Market. There are several supermarkets within walking distance where one can buy essentials such as bottled water or mosquito spray, as well as a good number of restaurants featuring various cuisines and price ranges. It is a good choice if you are looking for comfortable basic accommodation at a moderate price.

The staff were extremely friendly, and only too happy to help! They organised a fantastic tuk tuk driver to take me to all the sights, including Angkor Wat, over two days. The room was scrupulously clean, bed comfortable, and secure. Hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Pub Street, in a peaceful area. Breakfast simple, but tasty. Free airport pickup a definite bonus! Extremely good value for the price I paid. Would definitely recommend! A++

Decent hotel at a decent price. Set your expectations at the right level first. It was perfect for a short stay in siem reap. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

First impression, dim lighting. Asked for my room they told me the king bed room I booked and paid for wasn't available anymore. Then, when I walked into the room noticed the bad noise level outside. When I took a shower, I found mold on the bathroom ceiling. Bad, bad, bad.

No need to pay for an expensive hotel while in Siem reap. You will spend much of your time touring. They have excellent tuk tuk drivers to pick you up at the airport and also provide really inexpensive tours. Excellent service and very accomodating
