The Manor House Hotel

Nice and spacious room with lots of character. Comfortable bed, large and well equipped bathroom and a fan in the room which helped with the extreme heat. The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had on this tour.

Comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent. Reception staff were brilliant, especially the Spanish lady, she was exceptionally helpful. We went for our anniversary and it was lovely to have a card in the room, great touch. Nice cocktails!

The tuna sandwich at lunch was done with bread you get at a supermarket, it would have been much nicer with bloomer bread for example. The toilet paper needs to be better quality, however this is just being picky!

Beautiful setting in historic building. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Loved the breakfast and the cheerful breakfast dining area with views of the garden

English breakfastは質量ともに大満足。　レストランも明るく、籐の椅子も清潔感があって調和のとれた素敵な空間でした。　 ダンディーでにこやかなお髭のスタッフと一緒に写真を撮りました。 中庭（English garden)も素晴らしく癒されました。　受付はとても感じが良く日本好きの女性もいて嬉しかったです。 部屋（Orchid）の作り（窓、カーテン、鍵、絵、電灯など）も英国コッツウォルズの良さが昔のままに残されていて古き良き時代を感じました。

特にないがレストランの一部のスタッフに笑顔が欲しかったです。

This is a well looked after old property with a lovely garden/patio area to sit in. Being old it comes with the expected creaky floors. The beds are comfortable and the room clean. No complaints there other than road noise. Breakfast is cooked to order with fruit and cereal available buffet-style.

This is not a cheap hotel so the expectations are always going to be higher. Reception staff were friendly, restaurant staff were a little "stressed" when we asked for a table with no prior booking. It was obviously not a full sitting at our time of arrival. Nonetheless we were seated and an hour later we'd gone (restaurant still not full). Our room was well appointed and comfortable but was roadside (it's a very busy road). Double glazing can only do so much for noise reduction. The road does quieten down by 8pm but obviously there's always some traffic. The real issue is noise from rooms above. The property is an old building and unless you have a top floor room you'll hear every footstep lound and clear from the guests above. So if you're a light sleeper ask for a room on the top floor and at the rear of the property. As our room was a junior suite you'd have thought this was a given but it isn't. Breakfast is ok - nothing outstanding but not terrible either. The hotel is a good central location for Cotswolds attractions and the town has a variety of restaurants and bars all within easy walking distance.
