Riverview Resort & Conference Center

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. WIFI in the room was strong. The free breakfast was good and the bottomless coffee was very nice. Cons: Micro mini toilet paper rolls. Plan on having to ask for more. The toilet seat was missing in our room. When we complained, we were told by maintenance that it was on order. Now really, who rents out a hotel room with no toilet seat? Major ding to reputation for that.

The rooms need to be renovated. The bathroom was in poor condition. The shower water hose looked too old that we were not sure whether to use the shower at all. The floor mat looked like a dirty rug. Good thing that they had fresh smelling bed linens. The staff tried hard to make our stay as comfortable as possible and were apologetic whenever they came to fix something in the room. They had complimentary bottles of water in the rooms ( i booked three rooms)

Prepaid booking of a room with two double beds. 1st - Went to hotel lobby was told I had no reservation and I would have to pay to get a room that I already paid for. 2nd - My wife and I had to stay somewhere as it was late and we needed to get some rest so we could catch a bus in the morning. 3rd - After paying for a room with 1 queen size bed and starting to research how all this happened. Magically, my money was refunded and our prepaid reservation was found. 4th - Was never offered to be moved into correct room. So had to settle for dirty, worn out mattress, filthy bathroom and did I mention we had to wear slippers as the floor was sandy.

The room was large, bathroom not so; but the prices of food (Chicken Wing sauce was A+) was 50% of what I'd experienced the previous 14 days in Manila, Cebu, Subic and Pampanga! Thanks! Largest pool I'd seen too.

No shampoo. The water heater is broken. Loud noises from the pool.

Bed was small, wasn't what i ask for, was woken middle of night by what appeared to be a rat chewing on wood, then heard something on floor like rat, didn't know we had to eat outside instead of in, many flies...

Had a Nice Stay at Riverview. I would definitely recommend to a Friend or Family. Good Food , and We Loved the Large Pool. Very Clean!!!!

They were working on outdoor embellishments. I would suggest they upgrade the rooms instead. Ok place to stay in the middle of town.
