There wasn't anything to dislike

The place was lovely and very clean. Kind and friendly hosts.

The place is having some renovations outside so it wasn’t so pretty to look at. But I’m sure it will be great once they’re finished.

Clean and comfortable. The condition let it down a little, e.g. badly damaged headboard, it would be easy to replace. Also the rooms are in the car park and cars are right outside the downstairs rooms’ windows. With an eye mask I got a good nights sleep and the pub is lovely, people friendly and the breakfast is very good.

Really welcoming country pub with good food, great atmosphere and a lovely breakfast.

Tom and Terry were fantastic hosts. All staff were very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

The couple who run the pub and inn were so lovely. The food was good and it was lovely to eat and sleep in the same place. Fresh eggs from the family chickens and gorgeous Jack Russell dogs complete the experience.

Excellent food

In the bathroom, replacing the rusty loo seat hinges and filling in a gap in the tiling with a bit of sealant would have given a better first impression - but these details didn't detract from the cleanliness of the place, which was fine throughout.
