"Confortable overnight stay in friendly pub with good food."

Comfortable bed in a nice ground floor room. Terry and Tom were welcoming and provided a fab breakfast. Parking on site in front of the room was a bonus.

Property was very good. It would have been nice to have peppermint, green or jasmine tea available.

The staff were lovely and very friendly. We had a meal with friends the evening of our stay and the food was very good and well cooked - especially the Fish & Chips. The room was comfortable and clean.

We paid for a 'deluxe' room' but it was a bit over-priced. Breakfast was disappointing. There was no menu to choose from and for those who don't want a full English there was almost nothing else. No fruit or yoghurt and just one cereal. Also the coffee/tea/hotwater machine in the room was not straightforward to use.
