The staff and locals were very friendly, the location was ideal for our plans for the weekend

The quality of the breakfast could have been better, it had been left sitting on a hotplate

Lovely staff, extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable room, pleasant bar area in the pub. Food was tasty, nicely presented and generous portions, we never did manage to fit in anything more than ice cream for pudding!

It would have helped to have a shelf in the bathroom for shampoo, lotions, toothpaste etc.

We received a very open and warm welcome. The children and we were made to feel very welcome. The pub is cosy and the company nice. The rooms were lovingly decorated, everything was comfortable and clean. Dinner was also available. The beds were comfortable and everything else was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast in the morning by arrangement in original English, with fresh eggs. Such lovely hosts and an incredibly nice village. Joking with the children, all very positive. From there to Stonehenge - free of charge as an English Heritage member - was definitely worth it. We would come back again! Best regards!

Nothing

The room was cold and damp and smelt musty. The bed felt damp and not fit for purpose. My husband is 91 years and although we arrived (not a “no show”) we couldn’t stay due to the conditions. Also the restaurant featured on their website was closed so the services were not as expected either. We are in dispute with the cancellation cost of full price levied on us and still await your reply.
