Everything all in one. Communal Onsen with a view. Room is made up at bed time with futons. Store on site. Food presentation beautiful. Great service. Shuttle service as well timely and safe.

"Perfect stay, great location in Takayama "

Wonderful hotel, Ryokan. I used the spa, got a massage, used onsen- bath. All clean and lovely. Location was perfect, walking distance to the red bridge, old town, temples, etc. we even walked to the Hida Folk Village. There were many good restaurants, just a bit of a hassle always needing reservations. Overall it was great, and a beautiful town

Super friendly staff and had English speaking staff. Food was fantastic and gave a variety of options for the meal course. Was close to the shopping and sake districts, so you can walk around and see what there is to offer from Takayama. Free shuttle bus to and from Takayama station.

We loved our stay here! Transportation from and to the train station was provided which gave us one less thing to worry about. We booked with the dinner and breakfast option and both were spectacular. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely stay again!

Sehr gute Lage um Takayama zu entdecken. Gutes Essen. Haus alt, Zimmer sehr einfach aber sauber. Das Onsen Bad auf dem Dach bleibt hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung, wenn man Takayama nicht versäumen möchte.

"Beautiful views of the river"

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel staff are amazing. Very courteous staff and nothing is too much bother. The evening meal was delicious however they do try to rush through the multi course meal, before we had finished one course the next one was there. The traditional Japanese rooms are a novelty but I couldn’t spend too many nights sleeping on the floor. The hotel is in a perfect place for all the sights and the old town which is fabulous.
