Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan

La persona que nos atendió antes de entrar al hotel. La persona que nos explicó todo en la Habitacion y el personal del desayuno.

La Habitación tenía vistas a unas obras, era muy antigua y pequeña. Relación calidad precio muy lejos de ser coherente. Pedimos un masaje y no tenían. Las instalaciones parecían de los años 80 sin renovar. El baño aún estando limpio era extremadamente lúgubre. Pagar el dineral que pagamos por dormir en un colchón malo en el suelo con unas almohadas cutres en un sitio sin cortinas y con vistas a una obra no merece buenos comentarios. La experiencia ha sido la peor que hemos tenido en Japón, lamentablemente. Entiendo que nos dieron una habitación terrible y que habrá otras mucho mejores. Dónde estuvimos no es de recibo.

The location in the middle of Takayama near the morning market and old streets is fabulous. The room was comfortable, and the service is impeccable. The staff went out of their way to orient us, and help us with directions and dinner reservations. They picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station. Our dinner at the attached sushi restaurant was absolutely delicious.

室內浴場和主臥是連在一起的。房間內都有溫泉味。而且感覺潮濕

Beautiful property,beautifully laid out. The rooms with the private onsen are absolutely worth it. The staff could not be more helpful.

A bit further to get to from odaware but absolutely worth it

The Kachoan was a pleasant way to have an elevated traditional ryokan. The location is ideal walking distance to old town and well situated to main attractions. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. We were well cared for during our stay from pre-arrival communication and arrangements, to complimentary personal transportation fir arrivals/departure, room check in, dinner and breakfast. Meals were very good with personal service in individual traditional dining rooms. They were able to accommodate our request for western table & chairs as my inflexible 6’1” husband finds it difficult to sit Japanese style beyond 5 minutes.

Air con was not strong enough in our suite during heatwave.
