Quiet location just 15minutes walk into Hathersage. Free parking, tepee with heat lamps in with outside bar but bar area inside is just as welcoming. Can recommend the Plough and will definitely be going back.

"Delightful Inn"

A very warm welcome, food to suit all tastes and comprehensive COVID-19 precautions in place. The sort of place to instantly relax and book your next visit before you leave. Dogs are also welcome, but are managed so that they don't disrupt anybody who does not like them. There are numerous walks straight from the inn, alongside the River Derwent.

The Plough Inn provided an ideal location for visiting Chatsworth and for numerous walks. We were delighted with our room, especially the spacious bathroom! We ate in the restaurant each night and enjoyed the variety of well presented and delicious food. The prices were a little high but on reflection worth the money. All staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of sanitisers in the restaurant and social distancing was being observed by the majority. A very enjoyable stay which we hope to repeat before too long.
