Thoroughly enjoyed or stay, excellent food too.

We enjoyed staying there. Nice place. Food was OK. Staff really helpful. Rooms nice - clock didn't work.

The rooms are very very nice, they are clean and have a lot of character. The food within the restaurant looked lovely, however, we didn’t manage to get round to trying any. Unfortunately, the staff are quite rude, except for one which we didn’t get his name. On arrival there was no warm welcome other than 4 staff in front of us whispering and gossiping about who should tell us something- no offence but you lot are not invisible we can see and hear you. But on a lighter note, the bar staff are friendly and the surrounding outside area is perfect!

Loved the outdoor space for each room. Room needed a little maintenance ( bathroom door didn’t shut) and no extraction or window in the bathroom. Lovely staff. Super location just 3 miles from the centre of Reading
